World Librarians Makes Knowledge Accessible to Internet Devoid Areas

Learn about increasing equity by making research and information accessible! World Librarians is a socio-technical system that bridges the digital divide by providing open access information through a process called Commons-Based Peer Production. They provide educational content to schools in Malawi, Kenya, and Ghana. The organization is a collaboration between teachers in Malawi and students at UMass Amherst.

Real Magic happens. e-NABLE is an online global community of “Digital Humanitarian” volunteers who use their 3D printers to make their magic (free and low-cost prosthetic upper limb devices) for those in need.
